Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami the ball on the opening possession of the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third scoring pass. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway was the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
