Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia this week. This software is available for compatible iPhone models. To get the update, go to Settings. Then tap General. Then choose Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and list it if the device is compatible. Only some older models will receive iOS 27. The launch date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the rollout is underway now. Certain iPhone users will spot the update straight away. Others won't. The result depends on the handset.
